"Early" life
What there is of Curt Cunningham's life before wrestling is not known with any veracity; the only accounts are from Cunningham's mouth. He has claimed to have a hand in various major civilizations and their crowning events as a high-ranking adviser, always close enough to give advice but behind the scenes, often playing the role of puppetmaster to ineffectual leaders. He also claims to have trained under the secret chiefs of the jungle-tundras of sub-Asia. These claims are dubious because neither of these three things have been proven to exist.
All in all, the claims he makes about his early life are at best unproven and most likely complete fabrications.
Wrestle Coast: Cascadia
While it was clear that he was no novice, the first record of him came in Wrestle Coast: Cascadia, a promotion in the Pacific Northwest with ties to the WfWA. His start there was rather undistinguished at this point as he missing the target for getting onto WCC's Summer Games team, though he did go on to establish a winning record. After WCC's Year One, he resigned from the promotion, presumably to concentrate on the Infinite Gauntlet and his supervillainy.
Infinite Gauntlet
"Cunning" Curt Cunningham burst onto the IG scene by delivering some rather well-received trash talk against Chris Storm in IG 45, earning him a place in the second round of contenders to the throne, after Charlotte Ramone and Jerichoholic Anonymous. When Ramone proved victorious, Cunningham and the Illustrious Face Eater took her on in IG 47, with Cunningham coming out on top. In IG 48, Cunningham successfully defended his IG crown against Seymour Almasy, James Varga, and Jackson Rust, becoming the first person to do so since Tchu's last defense in round 35 and also retiring Almasy from active competition.
