Synopsis

1. The GCW Television Title was introduced at Shockwave, and Chaos, Makaveli, Mr. Dream, Corhay, Capo, Khris Krowe and Shane Lane went at it for the gold. Newcomer Shane Lane had already earned the hatred of the crowd and was the favorite going in, but Capo upset the field and burst onto the scene as the first TV Champion.

2. Capo found himself defending his title against the ever-popular Zippy. Capo refused to take Zippy seriously, but Zippy shocked him with a big ZIP Flip for the win!

3. LeStatt Knight burst onto the scene as a promising young talent, receiving this shot against the fast-rising Zippy. Zippy fought valiantly, but LeStatt handily defeated the youngster to capture his first GCW title.

4. Zippy received a rematch against LeStatt at Annihilation, but the crowd knew he was in over his head. Zippy brought the fight to LeStatt, but LeStatt looked to be on the way to retaining. It took the interference of Tristain Mayhem to bring LeStatt down, and Zippy left with the gold.

5. Dan Rivero, a backstage joke and hated by the fans, managed to earn a shot against Zippy at Heatwave. The crowd was solidly behind Zippy, but the much-maligned Rivero defeated Zippy and captured GCW gold.

6. Rivero, claiming to be the best TV Champion ever, met the red-hot Jason Dread at FallOut. Prior to the match, Rivero challenged Dread to make the match no-DQ. Dread accepted, and the resulting bout took them out of the Fleet Center and into a bar across the street. Dread locked on the No Moment on top of a pool table to earn a submission victory.

7. Rivero garnered this rematch against Dread, and the two continued their rivalry. Dread managed to get the best of Rivero once again, but newcomer NBK entered the fray to help Rivero, costing Dread the title.

8. Rivero's ego promptly inflated, and eventually demanded that NBK kiss his feet in front of the world. NBK promptly attacked Rivero, setting up this match. Rivero and NBK fought a back and forth match, but NBK scored a clean pinfall to capture the TV title.

9. NBK defended his title several times, but found himself in a triple threat match against Jeff Wylde and Chameleon. The match quickly got out of hand, and in the chaos The Jhub distracted NBK long enough for Wylde to pin Chameleon and steal the title.

10. In his debut match, The Evangelist shocked the world by ending the impressive reign of Jeff Wylde with a stunning upset victory.

11. Earlier in the evening, Demented beat a field of ten other competitors in a chaotic gauntlet match to earn the shot at The Evangelist. Demented was exhausted coming into the match, but somehow pulled out the victory with a big win and his first heavyweight title.

12. The TV Title division became incredibly competitive, and in the end Demented found himself taking on three challengers in a fatal fourway matchup. The Evangelist and LeStatt Knight were seeking their second title reigns, but incredibly popular newcomer The Tyrant scored the pin on the Evangelist and left with the title!

13. The hated Almighty Kippo, 'Man of 1000 Names,' got this shot at one of the year's biggest shows. The Tyrant had become one of the most beloved stars in the company, but the fan support wasn't enough to carry him through the match. Kippo locked in his signature submission hold, and The Tyrant tapped away the TV title.

14. After years of inactivity, the TV title was ressurrected at Warpath 2005. The first champion was to be crowned in a battle royal, much like the first TV title bout. Capo, Dimensioner, Jonathan Borealis, Eva VanLorne, Erik VanLorne, Ryan Stephens, Ashton Hardcastle, Bryan Marshall, Connor Pearce and Kyle Niker took part in the bout. Capo, having stolen the belt at Warpath, wrestled with the belt around his waist, but he didn't last. Jonathan Borealis last eliminated Ryan Stephens to capture TV gold!

15. Borealis defended the title well during his reign, until he came face to face with the legendary Renegade. Borealis gave Rollins a run for his money, but in the end the crafty veteran snuck out a victory and won the Television title.

16. The double champion Rollins got more than he bargained for in a triple threat ladder match against Trey Tremendous and Johnny Borealis at Annihilation. Eva VanLorne, seeking revenge against Rollins, entered the fracas and took out the field, then left with the TV title belt, which was awarded to her by a technicality.

17. In her very first defense, the obsessive Jonathan Borealis inserted himself in Eva's business. The momentary distraction led to Mike Savige easily taking advantage for the win, and a big title pickup early in his GCW career.

18. Mike Savige, anxious to continue his amazing streak of successful defenses, issued an open challenge for the TV title. Seeking to make an impact worthy of a spot in the Devil's Night main event, Bryan Mayhem answered and soundly defeated the dominant Savige to win his first GCW singles title.

19. After shocking the world (and himself) at Devil's Night by burying Bryan Mayhem alive, Chrissy-Poo found himself the target of the demented monster. Reborn as Bryan O'Neil, the big man faced Chrissy at NC-17 in a ladder match for the title. But Chrissy shocked him again, grabbing the belt and becoming the new TV champion, reborn himself as the dynamic Chris Kannon.

20.Kannon defended the title valiantly after his miraculous victory, but his string came to an end as he was defeated on WorldWide by newcomer Jason Warr.

21.Jason Warr went title-for-title against Jayce Bradley on this night, defending his belt against Cruiserweight Champion Jayce Bradley. It was a closely contested match, but the fast rising Bradley rolled to a victory and a double championship.

22.On Team Baked night, Bradley found himself defending his title against Jacob McKail and Virgil Ambrosi in a Bathroom Brawl (similar in concept to a Boiler Room Brawl). The trio went at it as best they could, but it was the relatively unknown newcomer Jacob McKail who surprised the champion and took the title in only his second match.
