Spacely (born Thad Denver in Athens, GA on November 14, 1990) is an American professional wrestler, currently working for Sin City Championship Wrestling. Spacely's great uncle is in fact the late singer/songwriter John Denver, but he steadfastly refuses to come out to "Thank God I'm A Country Boy" as his entrance music.

Training and Early Career

Based on unfounded sources, Thad Denver enrolled in a mixed martial arts school in Atlanta, Georgia only to quit two days afterward and join a professional wrestling school instead. However, on his website, Spacely states this as his background:

Spacely was trained by a five-headed, twelve-armed and fifty-two legged creatures whose name cannot be spelled on an Earth keyboard due to impossible language conversion. We called him Ray the Gay. Although it is virtually impossible to escape a leg lock when fifty-two are wrapped around your body at once, Spacely quickly learned how to defy gravity (which is actually not that hard in outer space) and shoot ice balls from his mouth to freeze opponents (a skill actually learned from his ex-wife back on Zarflon, not in wrestling training.) After graduating from the tutelage of Ray the Gay, Spacely ventured to the Melmac Wrestling Federation where he proceeded to kick Gordon Shumway's cat-eating ass from pillar to post to win the Hypercenturion Bevyweight Championship and hold it for sixty-four light years, which was the shortest reign ever for a champion. He lost the title to Skeeter Man, a mutated sperm who was eventually outed on steroid allegations. While traveling to Earth, Spacely made Spacebucks by street fighting on other planets. It was through this that he met Quasar...who was trying to find his way home with fellow space household pets Chance and Sassy, who were a couple of real assholes that Quasar was happy to get away from. Upon arriving on Earth, Spacely worked at McDonalds before eventually being signed by Sin City Championship Wrestling after they saw him slam dunk the shit out of a basketball and then give the goal a double hurracanrana.

Spacely is known for his daredevil, spot-oriented style, as he incorporates many high-risk moves in his offense.

Sin City Championship Wrestling

Spacely debuted with Quasar on the SCCW pay-per-view event Homecoming after two weeks of comedic segments, both of which were shot with poor production for ironic humor. Prior to his match against Victor Ambrose, he claimed his in-character ally Mott Krewkut had developed a teleporter (coincidentally, this event aired around the time that the new Star Wars film had been released) that would beam him into the ring. However, it merely showed a hologram of Spacely, and a confused Ambrose began to try and wrestle the image. Spacely ultimately pinned Ambrose for his first win for the organization.

Spacely defeated Rick Malloy on the 7/16/09 episode of Temptation to become the SCCW LiveWire champion. The next week on SCCW'S SIN on SPIKE 3, Spacely lost the title to Xander Searle in the Dome of Doom match, but subsequently won the Gateway Championship and making history by being the first to score a pinfall on Desade since her SCCW wrestling debut over a year ago.

Spacely lost the Gateway championship to Jared Sykes in a ladder match on the Equilibrium pay-per-view in a ladder match. The match also involved Dusk. This would be the starting point in a feud with Sykes, as the two had a falling out over Sykes' friendship with Aimz. The feud ended with a rematch for the Gateway title at SIN on SPIKE 4 with Jared retaining.

Since the Equilibrium pay-per-view, Spacely has been accompanied to the ring by former Dead Man's Hand charter member, Mackenzie Malone along with Quasar.
