The Establishment is [[GCW]]'s most infamous stable. Founded by GCW President [[Steven Caldera]], The Establishment has always been one of the most dominant forces in GCW.

== Version 1.0 ==
The very first version of The Establishment was formed in early 2001 at the first edition of [[Meltdown]]. Steven Caldera formed the stable alongside [[Khan]], [[Toxic]], [[John Reed]] and [[Octavian]]. The group lasted for some time, before an injury to Khan forced him from the group. When he returned, Khan turned on Octavian, forcing Caldera to choose a side.

== Version 2.0 ==
At Shockwave 2001, Octavian defended his [[GCW World Heavyweight Title]] against Khan and Rich Rollins in a triple threat Iron Man match. Though Rollins won the match and the title, The Jhub and Steven Caldera shockingly joined forces with Khan, turning on Octavian and recreating the group along with original member Toxic.

== Version 3.0 ==
The Establishment was dormant for quite some time before being unexpectedly resurrected in January 2002. At Rampage that year, Jason Dread met Tristain Mayhem for the GCW World Title. Mayhem's close friend Caldera turned on him, helping to award Dread the title. Caldera and Dread joined forces with Khan, Toxic and Michael 'Spitfire' Stevens to form the group's biggest version yet. The group was dominant during this run, as Jason Dread held the World Title for a record time, Michael Stevens was an excellent United States Champion, and Khan held the Hardcore Title for two months.

== Version 4.0 ==
The fourth version of The Establishment, the first of GCW's second run starting in 2005, underwent a change in philosophy. Headed again by Caldera and featuring GCW Hall of Famer LeStatt Knight and Jordan White, the group was more focused on in-ring dominance than manipulation. Still, Caldera was not shy about pulling strings to arrange things in favor of his chosen group. The group saw Jordan White rise to the position of number one contender and challenge Lia Ambrosi for the World Title.

== Version 5.0 ==
Jordan White fell short of his goal of winning the World Title. The following week on WorldWide, White did the unthinkable and quit The Establishment. But Caldera already had a replacement in mind. Rich Rollins returned to GCW and shocked the world by aligning with his longtime rival. Combined with the returning 3-time World Champion Octavian, a new and even more deadly group was formed.

== Version 6.0 ==
The Establishment in 2007-8 continued to struggle to obtain dominance. The group became stagnant, but change was catalyzed the day Rich Rollins was found dead. With Rollins suddenly out of the group and a dark cloud hanging over it, LeStatt Knight opted to quit and strike out on his own. This left Caldera and Octavian alone to forge ahead. However, as usual, Caldera was able to find a new leader. Caldera seduced one of his greatest rivals, Jay Terror, to join the group. In exchange, Terror was aided in winning a number one contender's match against Jordan White.

Primetime Central was first announced to the general public on the August 31st, 2001 episode of PCW Friday Fusion. This date is considered to be PTC's birthday.

:Friday Fusion starts off with a video tribute to the CEO of PCW, [[Tyler Nelson]]. With "Money" by Pink Floyd playing in the backround, the montage features footage from PCW Shanghai'ed, when Nelson was first declared the CEO of PCW.

:Then, we are shown numerous scenes from PCW's dominant reign in [[Fedwars]], led by Media, and spearheaded by [[Tyler Nelson]]. Then, the logo of Primetime Central drifts accross the screen, the logos of each involved federation appearing after it one by one. Finally, the logos of each of the properties acquired by Tyler Nelson materializes, over the superimposed image of the smirking CEO.

==Trivia==
* PTC was originally hosted at Steelramp.com. The primetimecentral.net domain and hosting was obtained after Steelramp owners disabled the account without notice.
* Primetimecentral.com was purchased much later, to stop a repeat of the fedwars.com / fedwars.net / fedwars.org fiasco.
* PTC has also been hosted at wrestleonline.org, and ewce.com.
* When PTC opened, it had a website as well as forums. Who knew?
* At the very height of its popularity, PTC had between 300 and 400 unique registered members visiting every day.
* PTC has a long-standing reputation for heavy moderation and banning members. It must have worked because there was a grand total of 2 trashbinned posts for the entire 2007 calendar year, and since 2003 only 8 people have earned permanent life bans. 2001 to 2002 would have seen 8 bans a week.
* A day and a half of down time on a shared host caused PTC to be moved onto a real self-managed server. Sadly, data centers are not invincible and PTC still gets one or two 6 hour outages a year.
* PTC was opened after Fedwars closed for the second time. Fedwars later reopened and the two (or is it three? Fedwars always was a bit schizophrenic...) sites actively competed with each other.
* PTC outlasted many incarnations of Fedwars, Revolution Studios, Revolution Wrestling and Project Xero.
* Revolution Studios was opened after its owners were kicked out of PTC when one of them vandalized PTC's site whilst being a PTC Fed Head. Too many bruskies, not enough brains, as the same guy later went on to delete the entire website of his own fed and try and blame PTC for it.
* During its life, PTC has used IkonBoard, T-Forum, PHPBB, IPB and VBulletin forums. Once you've used a legal copy of VBulletin, you can NEVER go back.
* The first two years of posts at PTC has been lost, but the current forums retain 95+% of all posts since September 2003.
* ewcentral.com, ewplanet.org and fedwars.net used to redirect to PTC. PTC staff found it faintly amusing to have fedwars.net email addresses.
* wrestleonline.net and wrestleonline.org still redirect to PTC. 16 bucks a year worth of sentimentality right there.
* ewplanet.com and ew-news.com could be redirected to PTC, but this has not been done out of respect to the original sites, and because nobody really wants to see them reopened by anyone other than the original owners. ewplanet.com did get a temporary redirection to ewn when they managed to lose their own domain.
* PTC was almost rebranded as ewcentral.com after GTT5. Fortunately, sanity prevailed. ewcentral.com would probably be still be pointing at PTC waiting for something to be done with it if the former owner hadn't neglected to renew it.
* PTC and WO were collectively called ew24-7. Difficulties in prizing the ew24-7.com domain name back from a shonky host prevented this model from progressing to its intended destination.
* The layout for PTC's new website was completed in 2004. Coding for the site has thus far not finished (four years and counting). The banner for the new website can be seen over the interfed closure notice that is currently up on the main page. It'll eventually be replaced with something newer, one day.
* Both PCW and [[PTC Radio]] were originally hosted on Fancast. PTC Radio is now ran using Shoutcast software from PTC's own server.
* While PTC has had [[PTC Staff|several owners and senior staff members]], the interfed never closed between 2001 and 2007, other than a brief reset during 2003 when ownership changed hands, to give feds a chance to leave gracefully if they didn't like the new setup.
* During its life, PTC has never been hacked - self inflicted or otherwise. The closest to a hacking was the vandalism incident by an unhappy fedhead in 2002.

Rich Rollins (Born Richard Andrew Rollins on September 17, 1978, died February 20, 2008) was one of the biggest names in professional wrestling. Rising from modest roots to superstardom in an unprecedented amount of time, Rollins has etched his name in the annals of wrestling as one of the best to ever step into the squared circle.

Rollins' life came to a premature end on February 20th, 2008, just a day after wrestling his final match for Global Championship Wrestling.

== Early Life ==
Rich Rollins got his start in professional wrestling on the local Chicago scene. The street life in Chicago was particularly tough, but the gritty Rollins quickly learned the toughness, tenacity and relentless dedication to greatness that would become his trademarks. Rollins worked blue-collar jobs while perfecting his craft in the ring, finally gaining enough notoriety to earn a lucrative contract with the upstart [[CWU.]]

== Cyber Wrestling Union ==
Rollins was a fast success in the CWU, winning the CWU United States Title in his very first match. Rollins defended the title with great honor for several months before starting in on a legendary feud with 'Blockbuster' Kurt Richards. Richards fell to Rollins, who won his first World Heavyweight Championship. Rollins eventually relinquished the title, which was then won by Vince Reed. Rollins returned at Uprise 2000 under the guide of Netheradege and defeated Vince Reed in an Iron Man Match, the contest that would eventually become his signature match and earn him the nickname 'The Iron Man.' Rollins and Reed completed a ferocious rivalry that saw the title vacated thanks to Commissioner [[Steven Caldera]]. Rollins remained a superstar with the CWU until the promotion closed in 2001.

== Global Championship Wrestling ==
When GCW opened in 2001, Rollins was fast to join. Though he was expected to headline the promotion, performing in the main event of GCW's first broadcast, an injury forced him out of action for a time. Once he managed to return to full duty, Rollins earned a place in a Triple Threat Iron Man match at Shockwave 2001 against Khan and Octavian. Rollins once again scored a victory in the Iron Man match, proving that he is the absolute best in that format. He earned his first GCW World Title that night, only to lose it a month later to [[The Jhub]].

Rollins returned better than ever and earned a spot in a Six Pac Challenge match at Annihilation 2001. Rollins emerged from the field including Champion Shane Lane, Luke Hanson, Steven Caldera, Octavian and John Reed to win his second World Title. Rollins held the title for another month before losing it in a massive upset to John Reed.

Rollins continued his GCW career, engaging in a brutal and personal rivalry with The Jhub. The two met at NC-17 in an [[ACWF Match]]. Though Rollins was the Iron Man, he was fighting in The Jhub's environment. The Jhub defeated Rollins with the Sharpshooter, ending a match that saw Rollins suffer massive damage. The result was a spine injury that forced Rollins out of action for quite some time.

Rollins returned to GCW in 2002. Once again he became a massive fan favorite as an opponent to Caldera's stable [[The Establishment]]. Rollins added to his impressive resume, but failed to reach the championship level again. When GCW closed in 2002, Rollins found himself without a job.

== Primetime Championship Wrestling ==
Arguably the biggest break in Rollins' career came when he was offered a place in PCW. Then the biggest promotion in the world, PCW exposed Rollins to an even bigger audience. Though Rollins did not capture the legendary status in PCW that he had previously in his career, he refined his skills against some of the world's best talent.

Rollins saw his star rise quickly when he competed in PTC's [[GTT]]3. Rollins opened many eyes as he won his bracket and made it to the Sweet Sixteen. Rollins eventually fell, but his impressive performance proved that he had what it took to compete on the highest level.

== GTT5 ==
After an extensive layoff, Rollins returned better than ever. He entered GTT5 and embarked upon one of the most dominant streaks of all time. After challenging and defeating GTT legend [[Angelo Deville]] in the first round, Rollins tore through the field with little effort. Rollins won the tournament to become one of the world's biggest stars.

Rollins followed this impressive victory by capturing the [[PTC Global Title]] from the Uber Judge.

== PRIME ==
Rollins opted to return to the ring full-time, spurning former employer Caldera to join PRIME. Rollins earned great acclaim in PRIME as part of the short-lived but legendary Fuck You faction. Along with Deville and Jason Snow, Rollins formed one of the most talented unions in pro wrestling history. Rollins continued riding his hot streak in PRIME, crafting a highly successful resume before finally leaving the promotion under suspicious circumstances in 2007.

== Return to GCW ==
At Warpath 2007, GCW announced that Rollins had re-signed with the promotion. Rollins issued a one-time challenge to then-Establishment star Jordan White for an Iron Man Match. The two met at Tsunami 2007, and in a shocking upset White gave Rollins his first Iron Man loss. Rollins was not heard from for some time until the week after Dangerous Games, when he returned and stunned the crowd by joining The Establishment himself, replacing the ousted White.

== Death ==

== Early Life ==
Caldera was born in Columbus, Ohio to wealthy parents. He did not perform well in grade school, nor did he show any particular physical gifts. Caldera withdrew from school at age 16 and went to college. There he excelled, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Business from Ohio State by age 20. Caldera then pursued a degree in Law, which he obtained from Harvard at age 23. During his last year of law school, Caldera began to pursue his life's dream of wrestling. The goal was simply to experience wrestling before going on to a career in law, but Caldera saw fast success and abandoned his life as an attorney to continue wrestling.

== Career ==

=== ACWF ===
Steven Caldera got his start in the ACWF in 2000. He progressed quickly, managing to capture the federation's World Title in one month, becoming the first and only ACWF World Champion. During this time he formed close friendships with Gaius Octavianus, later to become known as [[Octavian]], and [[Khan]], as well as the ACWF's owner [[Mr. Danger]]. Caldera also wrestled with close friend [[The Jhub]].

During the ACWF's first and only Pay-Per-View event, Deadly Decisions, Caldera wrestled in a one-night tournament, defeating The Heckler, the Lord of Illusions, and finally arch nemesis Big Daddy Dero to become the ACWF World Champion. However, during the final match, Caldera suffered a devastating knee injury, rupturing the ACL and MCL in his right knee. Doctors informed Caldera that the injury was career-threatening, and when the ACWF closed shortly thereafter, Caldera considered retirement.

=== CWU ===
However, Caldera was contacted by the Krotzers of the CWU. He was offered a job as Commissioner after expressing interest in working as booker. Commissioner Caldera arrived in the CWU in late 2000 and was immediately despised by the CWU crowd for his manipulative, absolutist approach to management. However, though personally disliked, most of the CWU's roster appreciated Caldera for having quickly boosted ratings. CWU experienced unprecedented success under Caldera, who quickly showed his aptitude for the business. The ownership disappeared during this time, leaving Caldera in charge of the company, and the CWU became the biggest independent federation in America. However, once the ownership returned, Caldera was forced out. Caldera announced his intention to start his own wrestling promotion, and most of the CWU roster made verbal commitments to follow him there. Among the CWU stars who would eventually establish themselves in GCW were Toxic, Trash (later known as [[Twizzy]]) and [[Rich 'The Renegade' Rollins]].

=== GCW ===
Caldera founded GCW in February of 2001. He had amassed considerable personal wealth during his time in wrestling, which he invested wisely. He took the entire sum and committed it to GCW, putting his life on the line to continue to pursue his passion for wrestling. The risk paid off as GCW debuted to record numbers.

=== AWA ===
Shortly after starting GCW, Caldera underwent an experimental knee replacement surgery. The surgery was highly successful, allowing Caldera to return to the ring. While continuing to work as head booker for GCW, Caldera began working for the independent promotion the [[American Wrestling Alliance]]. Caldera quickly won acclaim as the AWA Television Champion. After major rivalries with Vapor Adams and Dave 'The Rave' Santini, Caldera began his historic feud with Low. Low and Caldera engaged in a long, brutal war over the AWA World Title. Caldera finally won the AWA World Title in a First Blood Match against Low in December 2001. Low would win the title back two months later, only to promptly vacate the belt. Caldera would then win the vacated title back in February. Eventually Caldera's replaced knee wore out and had to be operated on again, prompting Caldera to pass the title off to former rival and protoge Vapor Adams.

During this time, Caldera returned full force to GCW and resurrected his historic stable [[The Establishment]]. With GCW World Champion Jason Dread heading the group with US Champion Michael Stevens, Toxic and Khan, Caldera became a force in his own promotion once again. The group dominated GCW until its closing in May. The company had remained financially sound, but due to a heavy work schedule the GCW roster faltered and ultimately needed time off.

During this break, Caldera returned to the AWA having healed his knee. Caldera met old rival Dave Santini and Ray Owens in a triple threat match in December 2002, where he captured his third AWA World Title. He held the title for 42 days before meeting Hangman in a steel cage match at Hellbowl. The match ended in a no contest when Caldera was thrown from the top of the cage, resulting in massive damage to his knee. Caldera was stripped of the title and would never wrestle in the AWA again. The knee damage was so severe that Caldera was unable to return to any ring for a full time schedule. A third reconstructive surgery on his right knee allows him to live comfortably.

=== Middle Years ===
Caldera has returned to the ring from time to time since then. Most notably Caldera entered PTC's [[GTT]]5 tournament, making a short but impressive run before his knee failed him against Jimmy Bong. Caldera also teamed with [[Seymour Almasy]] at [[NC-17]] 2006 against [[Angelo Deville]] and [[Rich 'The Renegade' Rollins]] in an [[ACWF Match]]. Caldera defeated Rollins in the match and escaped significant damage.

During GCW's downtime, Caldera linked up with new wrestler [[Kimbusa]]. Kimbusa soared to notoriety under Caldera's tutelage in GTT3, tearing to the semifinals before finally falling to Deville. The duo then went to OSW, where Caldera worked as a road agent. They then moved to [[Five Star Wrestling]], where Kimbusa enjoyed great success in the ring. Caldera continued to manage Kimbusa there while also acting as lead Color Commentator and road agent.

Also during this time, Caldera served as the President of [[Primetime Central]]. When WO split with PTC, Caldera was tapped to run the group. Caldera ran PTC for several months, helping PTC remain relevant after losing some of its premier promotions. Caldera stepped down after helping solidify PTC and pursued other projects.

After splitting from Kimbusa, Caldera took most of 2004 off to expand [[Caldera Enterprises, Incorporated]]. During this time Caldera's company grew exponentially, making Caldera one of the biggest names in the entertainment industry.

=== GCW Again ===
Caldera finally reopened GCW in 2005 to a huge response. GCW instantly became bigger and better, attributable to Caldera's greater experience and resources. GCW continues to run today with great success, though Caldera himself has returned to his absolutist ways, having resurrected The Establishment once again.

Rich Rollins (Born Richard Andrew Rollins on September 17, 1978) is one of the biggest names in professional wrestling. Rising from modest roots to superstardom in an unprecedented amount of time, Rollins has etched his name in the annals of wrestling as one of the best to ever step into the squared circle.

== Early Life ==
Rich Rollins got his start in professional wrestling on the local Chicago scene. The street life in Chicago was particularly tough, but the gritty Rollins quickly learned the toughness, tenacity and relentless dedication to greatness that would become his trademarks. Rollins worked blue-collar jobs while perfecting his craft in the ring, finally gaining enough notoriety to earn a lucrative contract with the upstart [[CWU.]]

== Cyber Wrestling Union ==
Rollins was a fast success in the CWU, winning the CWU United States Title in his very first match. Rollins defended the title with great honor for several months before starting in on a legendary feud with 'Blockbuster' Kurt Richards. Richards fell to Rollins, who won his first World Heavyweight Championship. Rollins eventually relinquished the title, which was then won by Vince Reed. Rollins returned at Uprise 2000 under the guide of Netheradege and defeated Vince Reed in an Iron Man Match, the contest that would eventually become his signature match and earn him the nickname 'The Iron Man.' Rollins and Reed completed a ferocious rivalry that saw the title vacated thanks to Commissioner [[Steven Caldera]]. Rollins remained a superstar with the CWU until the promotion closed in 2001.

== Global Championship Wrestling ==
When GCW opened in 2001, Rollins was fast to join. Though he was expected to headline the promotion, performing in the main event of GCW's first broadcast, an injury forced him out of action for a time. Once he managed to return to full duty, Rollins earned a place in a Triple Threat Iron Man match at Shockwave 2001 against Khan and Octavian. Rollins once again scored a victory in the Iron Man match, proving that he is the absolute best in that format. He earned his first GCW World Title that night, only to lose it a month later to [[The Jhub]].

Rollins returned better than ever and earned a spot in a Six Pac Challenge match at Annihilation 2001. Rollins emerged from the field including Champion Shane Lane, Luke Hanson, Steven Caldera, Octavian and John Reed to win his second World Title. Rollins held the title for another month before losing it in a massive upset to John Reed.

Rollins continued his GCW career, engaging in a brutal and personal rivalry with The Jhub. The two met at NC-17 in an [[ACWF Match]]. Though Rollins was the Iron Man, he was fighting in The Jhub's environment. The Jhub defeated Rollins with the Sharpshooter, ending a match that saw Rollins suffer massive damage. The result was a spine injury that forced Rollins out of action for quite some time.

Rollins returned to GCW in 2002. Once again he became a massive fan favorite as an opponent to Caldera's stable [[The Establishment]]. Rollins added to his impressive resume, but failed to reach the championship level again. When GCW closed in 2002, Rollins found himself without a job.

== Primetime Championship Wrestling ==
Arguably the biggest break in Rollins' career came when he was offered a place in PCW. Then the biggest promotion in the world, PCW exposed Rollins to an even bigger audience. Though Rollins did not capture the legendary status in PCW that he had previously in his career, he refined his skills against some of the world's best talent.

Rollins saw his star rise quickly when he competed in PTC's [[GTT]]3. Rollins opened many eyes as he won his bracket and made it to the Sweet Sixteen. Rollins eventually fell, but his impressive performance proved that he had what it took to compete on the highest level.

== GTT5 ==
After an extensive layoff, Rollins returned better than ever. He entered GTT5 and embarked upon one of the most dominant streaks of all time. After challenging and defeating GTT legend [[Angelo Deville]] in the first round, Rollins tore through the field with little effort. Rollins won the tournament to become one of the world's biggest stars.

Rollins followed this impressive victory by capturing the [[PTC Global Title]] from the Uber Judge.

== PRIME ==
Rollins opted to return to the ring full-time, spurning former employer Caldera to join PRIME. Rollins earned great acclaim in PRIME as part of the short-lived but legendary Fuck You faction. Along with Deville and Jason Snow, Rollins formed one of the most talented unions in pro wrestling history. Rollins continued riding his hot streak in PRIME, crafting a highly successful resume before finally leaving the promotion under suspicious circumstances in 2007.

== Return to GCW ==
At Warpath 2007, GCW announced that Rollins had re-signed with the promotion. Rollins issued a one-time challenge to then-Establishment star Jordan White for an Iron Man Match. The two met at Tsunami 2007, and in a shocking upset White gave Rollins his first Iron Man loss. Rollins was not heard from for some time until the week after Dangerous Games, when he returned and stunned the crowd by joining The Establishment himself, replacing the ousted White.
