McMirra made his debut for the WWA as a promising rookie in 2005, when suddenly, he left the company and turned his hand to chasing his first dream, when he begin a short lived and much talked about Boxing career, all for the wrong reasons.

He quit boxing and fell back into wrestling, he worked on his ring rust with the Independent scene, up and down the West Coast, until he got a call from his agent letting him know that the WWA wanted to re-hire him.

McMirra made his re-debut in mid 2007, he wasn't back long when he captured the WWA United States Championship at ''[[Birthday Bash]] 2007''.

In April of 2008, at ''[[Rage In The Cage]]'' XI, Andy McMirra teamed with [[Seth Copeland]], Dave Harley, Mal Somers, [[Denrol]] and Damian Thorne; to face off against [[Kade Williams]], Christopher Dumont, Paul Sterling, Jamal Diggs, Escobar and Proteus, inside the first ever Ultimate Glory match.

McMirra held the United States title for almost 7 months, until he went "mentally insane" and was fired for grevous bodily harm, and stripped of his United States title.

In January of 2009, McMirra and the World Wrestling Alliance, struck a deal to see the former United States Champion return to the WWA roster.

On the February 23rd edition of Meltdown, McMirra made his return to the surprise of everybody, to capture the win over [[Christian Matthews]], and earn himself a shot at the WWA Television Championship.

Two weeks later, McMirra defeated [[Elvis Hunt]], to become the WWA Television Champion for the first time.
