He retired after a short run in the [[Dominant Wrestling Organization]], where he was the first two-time World Heavyweight Champion and also held the record for the longest reign with that championship. Despite having not competed since leaving [[DWO]], Kaiowas is still considered one of the greatest wrestlers of his generation.

			He joined [[DWO]] as part of the [[d.W.o: New Breed]] faction and assumed leadership of the group following [[SurReal]]'s disappearance from the promotion before disbanding the group to focus on his goal of capturing the World Heavyweight Championship.
