A free agent, to PTC, is someone not beholden to a PTC fed but is visible around PTC, usually through competitions such as GTT or Infinite Gauntlet. Most often, the term is used in connection with characters, but handlers can also be referred to as free agents. One of the most successful recent free agents was Archibald MacGreggor, who claimed the PTC Extreme Title near the end of its existence.
