Jason O'Neil

Jason O'Neil (born Jason Francis O'Neil) is an American technical wrestler from Cleveland, Ohio. The second of three wrestling brothers, former GCW World Champion Bryan Mayhem, and Kaos, O'Neil is known for his tenacity, as well as his up and down career.

Early Career

Starting his career in 1993, O'Neil wrestled in many independant Christian Wrestling promotions throughout Northern Ohio, Northwestern Pennsylvania, and Southeastern Michigan under a variety of guises, the most popular being "The Devil's Advocate" Simon Sims, nearly winning the JWF (Jesus Wrestling Federation) Championship just six months into his wrestling career. An unfortunate knee injury derailed his chances, as the company folded two weeks later.

Wrestling a high-flying style at 214lbs, O'Neil sought to change his weight distribution, to perserve his career, and took up a more technical wrestling style that would save the impact on his knees and back. He gained nearly twenty pounds in a year, and took the local wrestling companies by storm.

In 1998, Jason O'Neil took his first step to the national wrestling scene, wrestling as "The Ghoul" in the TWO, and became renowed for years as the man who blew up an entire arena, despite this being a simple CGI effect to help the TWO and PRWO merge into the MEWF. Bryan Mayhem saw the potential of himself as a wrestler, and a year later, the Agents of Oblivion were born into the EWHF.

Agents of Oblivion, CHZF Controversy

As the Agents of Oblivion, O'Neil and Mayhem tore through the EHWF, guiding Bryan to the cusp of the EWHF World Championship, before being screwed by The Almighty Kippo, Tobias Fang, and The Grim Reaper, known collectively as the Almighty Four. Along with their crew, current WWE Smackdown! announcer Michael Cole, former WWE backstage interviewer, Kevin Kelly, Dementia, Uropa, former WWE and TNA World Champion, Kurt Angle, and the Acolytes, Bradshaw and Farooq, the two beat back the attacks of the Almighty Four, Demolition, and Mikey Hurricane, nearly destroying the EHWF in a sadistic Belmont Torture House match that's never been aired on any sort of TV.

Soon, the Agents took to the CHZF, and after a few months, the roster was in tatters, blaming the group, especially Mayhem, for the companies inability to secure arenas. The entire party was fired, and the promoter found dead after a mysterious meeting with two large men. Mayhem and O'Neil have never been charged, but have been questioned repeatedly, each time either goes to Wichita, KS, the home of the CHZF.

EHWF Takeover

After six months away, the Agents of Oblivion returned to the EHWF, this time as saviors of the company, and for the first time in their careers, they were faces. O'Neil turned his sights to Syko the Goblin, who'd joined the Almighty Four, and was the butt of many skits when Syko hosted Saturday Night Live.

PTC Fed Career

GCW

In July of 2001, O'Neil signed as a free agent with Global Championship Wrestling (GCW).

FSW

O'Neil feuded with Angelo Deville for the majority of his tenure in FSW, going 0-3 against the Devil's Don.

OSW

A short stint in OSW lead to a memorable house show match with Matt Register where the two performed what's been said to be the greatest wrestling match in the last fifteen years, going forty-five minutes before Register defeated O'Neil. The match ultimately lead to the firing of O'Neil and the death of Register.

tSC

O'Neil wrestled as Guererro Amarillo in the Squared Circle, in the tag team Los Primerios with Chet Worth and "Little" Al Kremmen. The three were never completely in sync through their tenure, and never won a match before tSC folded.

FUSE

After a successful run in the Chris Williams Memorial Cup, Jason O'Neil signed with FUSE, and immediately feuded with Dusk, where he no-sold thousands of superkicks.

GCW Hall of Fame

Despite popping into and out of GCW over the years, O'Neil was inducted into the GCW Hall of Fame, and immediately signed the GCW Hall of Famer contract, granting him a title shot. The shot was granted against Andy Murray. O'Neil lost a close match at Dangerous Games.

O'Neil has been candid about his wrestling past, specifically his use of drugs, alcohol, steroids and bribes to get ahead. This is noted to infuriate his current boss, Steven Caldera who is a noted purist. O'Neil is currently feuding with Caldera-led prodigy Jay Terror with the two expected to face off at NC-17.
