Vivica J. Valentine (born Vivica Julian Valentine on October 31, 1982) is an American professional wrestler best known for her success in the organization Global Championship Wrestling. Also known for her high risk and selfless aerial antics, Vivica's rise to fame started upon joining GCW as a member of Dies Irae. Since she has become one of the most well known, longest tenured, and well-decorated stars in the history of Global Championship Wrestling.

Early Life

Born and raised in Highland Park, Illinois... Vivica Julian Valentine lived the suburban life that most kids dreamed off. She was an athlete since the age of 5 competing in gynastics, swimming, and cheerleading. Although she did great at all three, she excelled at gynastics winning state titles since the age of 8. By the age of 12 she was being recruited by nearly every private high school in Illinois, but instead decided to go to school in Highland Park.

At her time in High School, Vivica was a 3-time All-American in gynastics and in cheerleading. Every college in the midwest was sending scholarships her way and why not? Maintaining a 3.8 GPA, Homecoming Queen, Head Cheerleader, and being the most popular girl in school were all attractive on a resume. But everything seemed so fake... and Vivica got tired of it. She began to get tired of typical High School politics... the rumors, the lying, the backstabbing. So much so that it started to consume her, she ignored all her friends, her grades dropped off, and every night at home turned into a fight. One night after a scuffle with her mom she had enough, at 3am she packed her bags and headed for Chicago.

With no money, job, or place to stay Vivica turned to the underground scene where she made ends meat by making the right friends with prominant underground leaders. This eventually lead her to wealthy business man Christian Zenith in which she became engaged to years later. Her relationship with Christian brought her into the world of professional wrestling, a business she idolized as a child and became reinterested in when exposed to the scene.

Wrestling Career

GLOBAL Wrestling

Vivica J. Valentine was hired into GLOBAL Wrestling on a manager's contract for her then fiance Christian Zenith. While contracted she began to train with Christian occassionally and formed a tag team with him after a couple months in the organization. While the team was highly underused due to Christian's ability as a singles superstar, Vivica continued to train and develop in her own right.

After his first GLOBAL World Heavyweight Championship reign, Christian Zenith formed the stable The Hunting Grounds with new GLOBAL signess Shadow (Lia Ambrosi), Dawn McFarlane, and Tessa Windsor. It was in this faction where Lia Ambrosi first developed a relationship with Vivica and began to train her personally to become a professional wrestler. By the time of Christian's departure from GLOBAL Wrestling in January 2006, Lia Ambrosi and Vivica J. Valentine had become best friends and made their way together to GCW.

Global Championship Wrestling

The Beginning

January 31, 2006 (WorldWide #38): Vivica J. Valentine makes her debut in Global Championship Wrestling as part of a stable known as Dies Irae. Teaming with superstars such as Lia Ambrosi, Dawn McFarlane, and Seymour Almasy... Vivica manages to find her way in with little-to-no wrestling training. Learning the bare basics from Christian Zenith and being trained by newly acquainted Lia Ambrosi, Valentine fails to show much of anything to the GCW fans. Expectations from the GCW faithful are low for the beautiful, petite blonde from Highland Park, Illinois... but Lia Ambrosi would become a best friend and mentor to the green superstar.

United States Championship Reign

February 21, 2006 (WorldWide #40): In her first ever singles match, The Black Mariah shocks the world by defeating GCW mainstay Sam Wolack for the United States Championship. The victory is very controversial, and eventually led to the exit of several roster members.

July 9, 2006 (Warpath 2006): In the first and only LiveWire match in the history of GCW, Vivica J. Valentine successfully defended her United States Championship against one of the greatest US Champions of all time in Eva VanLorne. Withstanding electricity shooting through her body, her valiant effort is saluted by a standing ovation from the sold out crowd.

October 28, 2006 (WorldWide #53): Brandon Youngblood makes an example out of the rising star, breaking her record breaking US Title reign at 247 days. Her reign is saluted by fans and staff alike, granting her a World Championship shot against Hall Of Famer LeStatt Knight. She would come up short, which started a streak of losses that would become as infamous as her title reign.

Breaking Free

January 14, 2007 (NC-17 2006): Tensions in Dies Irae boil over. Having not won a match since her loss to Brandon Youngblood, Vivica becomes the laughing stock of her team. Finding some self-confidence she becomes brash, violent, and defiant... standing up to stable leader Virgil Ambrosi. Her aspirations to prove his criticisms wrong end on that night however, when her losing streak continues at his hands.

February 8, 2007 (WorldWide #60): Bryan Mayhem viciously attacks Vivica J. Valentine in the Dies Irae dressing room, giving her a concussion and making her pass out due to blood-loss. The next week on WorldWide, Valentine would reveal her attacker and finally say the words to the rest of Dies Irae that the fans had wanted to hear for months. "I Quit!" The ovation was thunderous.

June 3, 2007 (Warpath 2007): With a change of heart comes a change in outcomes. The losing streak of the newly dubbed "Fearless Phenom" is snapped and victories over Markus Stone and Jayce Bradley put her into a well hyped rematch against LeStatt Knight. This time Valentine is victorious as things come full circle. Later that night Vivica is defeated in the finals by Jordan White, but her imprint as the next big star in GCW was already sealed.

August 12, 2007 (Tsunami 2007): After threatening Lia Ambrosi with fire and tormenting her all the way up to taking away her World Heavyweight Championship, Bryan Mayhem steps into the ring with the crowd pleasing aerialist who'd been waiting to get her hands on him for months. Mayhem successfully defeats Valentine and nearly sets her on fire for her troubles.

August 27, 2007 (Dangerous Games 2007): Facing Bryan Mayhem in his own element, an Inferno Match, Valentine steps into the show as a massive underdog. Fighting adversity as well as her own fears, Vivica still doesn't manage to defeat Mayhem. She would have her arm set on fire on her way to a tragic loss. Written off for the Dangerous Games match due to a severe injury, Valentine shocks the world by entering the battle royal anyway and wins with only one-arm... last eliminating long-time nemesis LeStatt Knight to become #1 Contender for the GCW World Heavyweight Championship held by Lia Ambrosi.

November 16, 2007 (WorldWide #77): A victory over recently debuted wrestler Clyde Fox isn't enough to sway the fans in Valentine's favor as President Steven Caldera has successfully convinced the public that Vivica has betrayed her best friend and joined The Establishment despite her protests of the opposite. Later it would be revealed that she was setup by Peter Maxwell, who took the spot she rejected in the stable. Proven innocent, the crowd was behind her as she took care of Maxwell on her own terms, defeating him in a singles match the week before NC-17.

World Heavyweight Championship Reign

December 23, 2007 (NC-17 2007): Tears flow down the eyes of The Fearless Phenom as she becomes the new GCW World Heavyweight Champion, defeating Lia Ambrosi to a standing ovation and a heartfelt show of respect in the middle of the ring. On the day before Christmas Eve, her dreams come true. At last, her destiny of winning the World Title was achieved.

August 13, 2008 (WorldWide #95): An ever-growing battle against Steven Caldera and the Establishment wages on as Valentine walks into WorldWide after arguably the most impressive victory in her career to date: a successful defense against the newly "Established" Jay Terror and would-be 2008 Worker of the Year, Jordan White. Upon her arrival, she's blindsided by an immediate title defense against Jay Terror, where she loses in shocking fashion. One of the most memorable world title reigns in GCW history comes to a startling end, after 235 days.

Fighting The Establishment

February 4, 2009 (NC-17 2008): Her bids for a rematch are denied and her dreams of once again becoming World Champion are shattered by The Establishment and new member Chris Bagwell, who is looking to make a name for himself by taking out "the face of the company." After months of verbal abuse and attacks on her closest friends, Valentine defeats The Human Hype Machine and thwarts yet another Steven Caldera attempt to break her. Although the world calls for her rematch to gain back the World Championship, it would never come.

February 14, 2009 (WorldWide #105): Valentine, being snubbed in her plea for a title opportunity, takes the fight to The Establishment just 10 days after NC-17 by facing Tyson DeBough and Brian Fisher in a handicap match. Tessa Windsor volunteers her services, turning the match into a tag team affair. Establishment members and their most heated enemies all join in the action before Windsor's husband Chris Storm and Banned & Exiled~! tag team partner Markus Stone shock the world by attacking Valentine and joining the Establishment. They would bring with them the GCW World Tag Team Championships.

Tag Team Championship Reign

June 21, 2009 (Rampage 2009): Vivica J. Valentine and newly recruited tag team partner and close friend Lindsay Troy defeat Establishment members Banned & Exiled~! for the Tag Team Championships. The victory is bittersweet, however, as immediately afterwards Steven Caldera ruins the party by terminating Lindsay Troy's contract.

July 26, 2009 (WorldWide #114): After the firing of friends Lindsay Troy and Tessa Windsor, as well as the pushing away of new close friend Andy Murray in fears of the same, Valentine is forced into her second handicap Tag Title defense against FishBough. Unlike the first, she is not victorious.

World Title Aspirations

October 28, 2009 (Dangerous Games 2009): After her impressive performances in past years, commentators and fans alike being to anoint Valentine "Miss Dangerous Games." She would have a match against former Man In Black and friend Digital Mortality, who returned after a long absence to make a name for himself. Unfortunately for Mortality the battle against Valentine was an uphill one and he fell short, almost as if foreshadowing Valentine's Dangerous Games performance later in the night. It seemed as if she had the match won until Jay Terror made his GCW return to keep her from becoming the first ever two-time Dangerous Games winner.

November 25, 2009 (WorldWide #121): After giving up his World Title shot to pursue "bigger things," Jay Terror moves on and Vivica is slated to face Clyde Fox in a #1 Contender’s match for her now-boyfriend Andy Murray's GCW World Title. In a very controversial finish, Valentine grabs the ropes to become #1 Contender and earn her long-awaited World Title rematch. But for the first time since 2006, the fans are not pleased with her victory. Instead, they find favor in the very lovable Clyde Fox.

December 23, 2009 (Christmas Chaos 2009): Two years to the day after her only World Title victory, Vivica J. Valentine is eliminated in a Deck The Halls Match by an "accidental" shot from Andy Murray. This incident, coupled with Murray forfeiting on her behalf in a match against long-standing rival LeStatt Knight, embarrassing her with revealing outfits, and handling her with kid gloves, causes Valentine to finally snap. She drills him in the face, costing her team the match. Shocked by her own actions, Valentine watches as her entire world falls apart around her. Three years worth of hard work, injuries, and sacrifice to gain the love of GCW audience goes away with one well placed boot to the mug of the Scottish King of Cool.

March 5, 2010 (NC-17 VII): After weeks of scrutiny and disrespect from peers, Vivica J. Valentine faced off against former lover Andy Murray in a hotly contested match that became very personal and very violent. At the end, Valentine fell just short of dethroning the man that broke her record of GCW's longest World Heavyweight Title reign. After a standing ovation from the crowd, she turned her back to them and left the arena scorned.

Second United States Championship Reign

March 17, 2010 (WorldWide #127): Arriving at the arena, Vivica's requests for a rematch against Andy Murray were denied by new GCW Commissioner Garbage Bag Johnny and she stormed out of the arena. Much to the surprise of everyone, including United States Champion Dan Black, Valentine returned to the arena to be a mystery opponent for Dan Black and recaptured the GCW United States Championship. With her quest for gold finally realized, not many know where the career of The Bulletproof Blond goes from here.
