Cade Bane (born May 20, 1990) is a professional e-wrestler who currently wrestles for the Just Wrestling promotion.
Early Life
Born Cade Schmidt to Stewart "Stu Bane" Schmidt and Rosalia Dominguez on May 20, 1990. He was raised in the carnival atmosphere of the Bane Carnival Circus, which is owned and operated by his father. He grew up with his three older half-brothers Fritz, Lars and Eddie, who were the sons of his father's deceased first wife. At an early age, Cade was taught acrobatics and began performing with the world famous Bane Family Flyers, the trapeze act for his father's circus. He also trained with his half-brothers in Collar and Elbow Wrestling, and is an accomplished C&E competitor in his own right.
When he was 14 years old, his cousin Tommy, who was a professional wrestler, returned to his father's company and convinced his father to open a wrestling promotion to tour with the carnival side of the Bane Carnival Circus. Cade began training with his cousin, and when he was 16 years old, he debuted in the ring against his own older half-brother Eddie. Since all of their faces were known due to being part of the trapeze act, it was decided that they would all wrestle in masks. Cade wrestled as Gauntlet, and developed the high flying style that his cousins in Mexico used.
By the time he was 19, he was getting good enough to go on tour, and started looking for a way to leave his father's promotion and strike out on his own. As chance would have it, his father decided in March of 2010 to shut down the promotion and return his sons to their regular performances with his company. When Cade made known his interest in leaving to wrestle, his father gave him his blessing, and arranged an introduction with Jody Monroe of Just Wrestling. He signed on for Tour X and debuted the next month on April 20, 2010.
