Emoticon (born Jason Seymour Wilson) was an alter-ego of American professional wrestler Seymour Almasy. Competing for Global Wrestling, as well as one match in Global Championship Wrestling, he was known for his bizarre, black latex ring attire, as well as his attempts to bring chivalry into the present day.
Global Wrestling
After a series of successful early matches, Emoticon found himself in the 2005 Master of the Mat tournament. He did well enough to reach the semi-finals, before finally falling to the much-larger Jake Hix.
Following that tournament, Emoticon found himself in the difficult position of taking on the woman whom he cared about most: Dawn McFarlane. The two met on a weekly edition of Evolution for Dawn's Television Championship. After withstanding a harrowing beating from the Mistress of the Mat, Emoticon managed to cradle Dawn to capture her Television Championship. He would defend the belt only once before falling to [[Michael Mercer].
Global Championship Wrestling
As part of the group of Global talent who left the company at the end of 2005, Emoticon, like most of that group, found his way to Global Championship Wrestling. Scheduled to take on LeStatt Knight in his debut, Emoticon defeated the future first-ballot GCW Hall of Famer, unmasking himself after the contest to be current roster member Seymour Almasy. Almasy continued the battles he'd started in Global against the likes of Lia and Dawn, before shockingly joining up with them to form the supergroup Dies Irae.
Primetime Central
During his Global run, Emoticon competed in the then-relatively new Infinite Gauntlet. In the Gauntlet's 7th round, he faced champion (and hated rival) Rich Rollins
