Brian Aaron Nadalny better known by his ring name The First is an American professional wrestler currently competing in EPW and A1E. His gimmick is born from his real life belief in reincarnation, paranormal events, and spirituality. He alleges that he is the first soul to ever enter into a human being, and has existed in various incarnations for roughly 6,000 years.

History

The First spent his life in the North Shore of Massachusetts. At the age of 16 he had epiphany brought about from a series of dreams after a past life regression, in the dreams he saw himself amid a group of humans who did not show the spark of a soul in their eyes, he was the only one who had undergone ensoulment. Over time others in the group began to show they had souls also and thus what we know of as humanity began.

With this knowledge, he managed to convince his friends in high school of this fact and began calling himself and being addressed as "First" or "The First". Around his 18th birthday he began training at Supreme Wrestling Academy in Boston. After 2 years in school he worked local New England based leagues for a year before getting a call to UCW.

In UCW The First quickly established himself as one of the top stars of the company, debuting with a win over Jonathan Marx, he went on to win the UCW World Title in a three way dance with Dan Ryan and Irishred. After holding the belt for a while he lost it to Irishred in a Last Man Standing match, in which First was tied up the ropes and then repeatedly and brutally chairshotted in the head by Irishred. First returned and was the ref when Irishred retained the UCW World Title over Jonathan Marx. Then in a Multi-way Steel Cage match for the UCW Title, First again won the title from Irishred, before the company went out of business.

First wasn't seen for a while before resurfacing in EPW, this time with a tag partner who was a masked man named 'Dope' who would end up revealing himself to be Felix Red. The team sputtered in it's attempts at gaining an EPW World Tag Team Title Shot, and then finally broke apart with Felix revealing himself, but they quickly reformed and then defeated The Proletariat for the EPW World Tag Team Titles. After that the Forsaken went on a 15 month run with the titles, before finally losing them to Jared Wells and Larry Tact of Anthology

During his time as tag champion, The First challenged EPW World Champion Sean Stevens to a match and was defeated, but only after having had Stevens pinned while the ref was knocked out, this match was an important turning point in First's career as it established him as a real contender for the EPW World Title.

When seeking another title shot The First had his promo interrupted by Cameron Cruise and the two ended up meeting for the EPW Intercontinental Championship a match that ended up with Cruise winning with aid from Copycat. After that match First tagged with Sean Stevens and they defeated Copycat and Cruise when Shawn Hart accidentally hit Cruise with the EPW World Title Belt.

After that match, a win over Shawn Hart, and a draw with Layne Winters, First again sought a title shot, this time seeking to be added to the main event of Russian Roulette but before he could stage his sit-down strike, he was attacked by former tag partner Felix Red, and is now set to face him in a street fight at Russian Roulette.

At Russian Roulette First defeated Felix Red in a street fight, later that night First revealed the formation of the stable HOPE in a match between Cameron Cruise and Shawn Hart, when HOPE and Anthology members hit the ring, in the end, Anarky turned the tide of battle in HOPE's favor leading to victory for Hart.

The First's efforts to get a rematch with Sean Stevens finally paid off when they met at Aggression 50, with First winning by disqualification, thusly failing to capture the title. After the match Cameron Cruise made his return to EPW after having been forced out of Anthology by Sean Stevens, and First was confronted by Winters, Anarky, and Hart over his failure to win the EPW World Title. First declared that he would seek one final title shot at Black Dawn and then either defend the title against his HOPE stable mates should he win, or agree to support their efforts to go for the title should he lose.

Black Dawn's main event ended up being a four way elimination match, featuring Cameron Cruise, Stevens, and fellow HOPE member Shawn Hart along with The First. During the course of the night, HOPE was shown to implode with Anarky quitting, Winters and Hart attacking each other (And the attack by Winters on Hart being pinned on First by Hart.) and Winters walking out of the group.

The main event came down to Stevens Vs First, with Stevens scoring the pin to retain the title. After the match Lindsay Troy ran out to attack Stevens.

After Black Dawn, EPW unveiled it's latest incarnation of King of the Cage a company wide tournament that this time had the added risk that everyone who entered the tournament that was a champion had to risk their title in every match they were in. The First entered KotC and won his opening round match against Copycat, which earned him yet another match with Sean Stevens for the EPW World Title.

Stevens had the match all but won as he climbed the cage after having hit 2 X-Factor Superkicks on First...But before he landed on the floor he got into a shouting match with former ally now turned enemy Stalker the two men kept arguing while Stevens held onto the cage, and First came up from behind Stevens and secured a choke...Stevens toes scraping the floor as he tapped out, a long conversation between the refs at ringside broke out before it was explained that the whole of the foot had to touch the mat to count for an escape, and that the tap would be counted, meaning First had won the match and the EPW World Title.

In A1E First won his first three matches, a three way dance against Castor Strife and Mac Flasher. A six man tag, and then a conventional tag match. His next bout is a TLC match for the A1E Challenge Championship

At Golden Dreams, Castor Strife won a TLC match to capture the A1E Challenge Championship. pinning Big Wreck for the title, First along with Mac Flasher, Jecht, and Chip Friendly lost in the match but were not involved in the fall.

After Golden Dreams The First set his sights upon the A1E Cyber Championship held by Jeffery Roberts. The two built up a feud that culminated in First defeating Roberts for the title at the Bloody New Year Pay-Per-View.

Also at Bloody New Year, First competed in the Pier Six Brawl making it the final two before losing to Shawn Hart.

Since then First has allied himself with both Hart and Strife. Hart out of apparent friendship, and Strife out of spite over the fact that the two men have always been enemies but A1E management puts them into tag matches as a team. Following a 'can't beat them, join them' mindset.

In PRIME, First has spent his time being harassed by Muse to join with Castor Strife and to allow him to benefit their careers. First and her argue about this all the time, while Castor seems to believe he has both of them solidly in his camp. After some early success First has earned a 5 Star Title match Vs Boda at Colossus VII
