"The Paladin" Joshua Kosidlo
History
Born in the small town of Rome New York April 5th 1972. The Josh grew up a small town guy with big dreams. He was an avid wrestling fan since he can remember. Cheering on his heroes.
Josh attended Dewitt Clinton Elementary School where he learned the basics of the world. When in 6th grade Josh remembers a love for acting brought upon by his teacher Antonio Lanzi.
Josh then went off to Staley jr High where he became more developed into the wrestling world with Backyard wrestling. He remembers being most influenced about wrestling and the Hardcore greats by friend and Class mate Scott. He also learned to appreciate some of the best technical wrestlers from friend he worked with later on in a small time fed.
Josh was top student there and star of the major sports teams. After his Junior high career was over he entered Rome Free Academy.
There Josh and friend Scott began making plans in the future for Wrestling. Josh an active member of the RFA Key Club and School Choir was relatively a good kid. Josh here was also star of all the major sports teams.
After graduating RFA Josh went to Harvard Law and graduated second of his class. Above him High School sweetheart Angelina Lambert, Who later moved away and they broke contact.
He then went to work for a law firm. After a brief time there he realized the corruption within and left with a clear conscience.
Josh then met up friends Rich, Eric and Scott and they discussed a wrestling college in Rochester. The three enrolled and upon graduating went their separate ways. The Josh started out in the Insane Wrestling Association as Vortex. He entered and was trained by current wrestler The Sandman. There he learned many technical moves and improved his abilities. This was the foundation of the Wrestler The Josh became.
After many other feds, and many other title reigns The Josh hit a bump in the road. While in the Independent Wrestling Empire on Valentines Day of 2000 he killed a reporter. The Josh was found guilty but released under probation. Being the guy died in the hospital not at Joshua's hands he had a very short sentence. The Josh returned to action in the sW as a man of God. There he preached the words of God. He began a small cult following with Action Jackson and Memphis Rhaines.
sW however became no more, and closed its doors. The Josh began wondering the wrestling world for a more suitable location. Finally after holding numerous championships in numerous federations, Joshua found his place in the Primetime Wrestling Academy. After only one match, that he lost to fellow former NTICW member Ken Kaze, he graduated.
After graduation Josh got a call from NTICW fed head Blane Bishop to be appearing in the NTICW. The Josh took his offer, and immediately became a household name; he feuded there with wrestler Hessian. They were then named the best feud of NTICW, shortly after however the NTICW closed down. However while there Josh was able to pick up the United States Championship off the now current Global Title Holder Hessian, in what was called one of the best matches in the history of NTICW.
Finally after a few meetings with PCW fed heads he had secured a spot in the PCW. However Josh's stay there was very short lived. Due to some backstage heat he was released from PCW and left the entire PTC for a good deal of time…
However scouts from Global Wrestling had been looking into Josh, and for a while he didn't really want to go, but eventually gave in. While in GW Joshua hooked up with a girl named Trista, who for a long time there after became one of his good friends, and closest relations. During this time Joshua was working as hard as possible, and was actually working for two promotions on open contracts. In the second promotion however, he fell from a 60 ft drop flat onto his back. So needless to say due to injuries he had to step out of the ring for awhile. This occurred late July of 2002.
Early November of last year Joshua was completely ready to return to the ring. After months of training he finally returned less than a year later to WWA. After only a few months there Joshua feel back into a recurring problem...
Joshua had become addicted to drugs in his time off of wrestling. His main drug of choice was Coccaine. By this time Joshua's marriage was on the rocks. After nearly losing his wife and his two year old daughter Bonita he finally cleaned up his act.
By the beginning of June 2006 Joshua had finally returned to Global Wrestling. With Joshua's wife expecting child his act had been clean. Joshua had begun to work harder, and with a fiercer determination then ever in his career.
Career
Joshua's career really began back in 1995 in a smaller promotion called Insane Wrestling Association. His time there was short lived, as the promotion didn't live for very long. After IWA he really didn't stay in one promotion for too long, until he came upon EFWO. Back in EFWO Joshua captured some of his most coveted title reigns, and really began to grow in popularity. It was in EFWO he was noticed by PCW, and signed to PWA. After a match in PWA with Ken Kaze, he was signed to NTICW where his first notable feud ever took place. Against Hessian.
Hessian and Kosidlo, then wrestling as The Josh feuded over the NTICW United States Championship. The feud culiminated with Josh taking the NTICW United States Championship from Hessian. The feud had gained him much recognition, and catapaulted him into the World title scene, a title held by Xavier Kannon, one of the top men in the wrestling world at the time. Before Joshua could get his title shot however NTICW's doors were closed, and Josh was called up to PCW.
The PCW years weren't the best of times for Josh, and after a contractual dispute was released from PCW after less than a month. When it seemed his career was almost over, Bubba McCoy came beckoning, and gave Joshua a chance when no one else would.
Since then, Joshua has been in and out of Global, at one point even joining WWA for a couple of months until his drug use caused him to lose all focus. In the last year he returned to Global, and has begun a rise to stardom he has never experienced before.
