JASON CHRISTIANSON (born on March 26, 1984), better known by his ring name, "The Prophecy" Jason Cruise, is a first generation American professional wrestler from Santa Monica, California. Cruise is arguably best known for his early work in NEO-International with the infamous A|X, THE Armani Exchange, trio and his work in FUSE -though he also wrestled in Second City Elite, over seas in Japan, and had a brief Mixed Martial Arts career in FURY-Pro.

Touted as one of the best technical wrestlers of this generation, Cruise has been slowly building the reputation as a true ring general who is building himself a legacy alongside of the heralded stable of The Highwaymen.

Jason graduated from the Dynasty Dojo in Los Angeles, California where he trained under the famed Dynasty legion of trainers and former wrestlers; Eugene Robinson, Idol Austin, and Tony Pride. Other wrestlers from this camp include young stars such as.

Early Road Bumps

After the announced retirement from wrestling of the original Dynasty (Pride, Austin, and Robinson) they had opened a Dojo in both Minneapolis, Minnesota and Los Angeles, California. The trio had put together an idea of training students in both cities and trying to put together a young tag-team that they would pass the torch and Dynasty name too. Each camp would produce one team through a series of trials and matches and the MN and CA winners would then compete for the prestigious Dynasty Title in a best of seven match series.

Jason Cruise and Johnny F'n Malibu mowed through the Los Angeles training camp, impressing both students and teachers alike. Jason for his technical wrestling and Johnny for his flashy, high flying aerial skills. In Minnesota the tandem of Damien Trent and Jarod Zemoch had won the honor for their camp after an impressive run through a tag-team tournament. The teams were set to meet up for a final encounter after splitting six matches with three wins a piece until Johnny and Jason had a falling out at the training facilities immediately following a loss to Zemoch/Trent in their sixth match. The trainers agreed that the two were not ready to hit the mainstream and awarded Zemoch/Trent the honor of carrying on their name. The pair instantly landed a secured contract in EMWC where Robinson/Austin had been holding the World Tag Team Titles. Zemoch/Trent were immediately thrust into the spotlight under the moniker "The Second Dynasty" while Cruise and Malibu fell under the radar.

Intro to the World of Wrestling

GLORY Pro

After graduating the Dynasty Dojo, Jason and Johnny left to high impact indy promotion known as GLORY Pro. Known to house some of the brightest and most talented upcoming stars, the pair jumped right into the touring circuit as a force to be reckoned with in the tag ranks. A brutal feud with The Southland Killers ["Ruthless" Randy Blackbourne and Nick Cruel] landed them their first taste of gold, capture the GLORY Pro Tag Team Titles. After tasting success, the pair ran wild, steam rolling the competition including an eventual run in with former NWC Tag Team icons, The Mercenaries [Steve Sands/Warfare].

In a match that would be talked about for years to come, the young guns of Cruise/Malibu defeated the Mercs in a bloodfest known as "Ascending the Battlements", a match with a cargo net ascending from the ring to a scaffold over 20 feet into the air. The downside to this storied victory was the attention it brought onto the young stars, namely the wrestler being dubbed as "The Five Star Phenom", Johnny F'n Malibu, for his amazing repetoire of moves and instant classic matches.

TOKYO Blast

After Malibu left GLORY Pro to persue his career as a singles star, Jason left the promotion after promoter Blackjack McArthur and himself had a dispute on his direction. So, Jason Cruise left the states to sharpen his game in the "stiffest" competition wrestling had to offer, the rings of Japan. It was here he developed his true Junior Heavyweight Strong Style of wrestling that still follows him today. More importantly it was here he came across another legendary trainer, Tenuto Kinzo, who embraced the young Cruise as one of his own, so much to the point that Cruise moved into his home where he met and friended Tenuto's son, Alexander Kinzo.

Cruise came to Japan with a strong amateur wrestling background and a true gift at working matches but it was Kinzo who tied all of these elements together and introduced him to the tough Japanese crowd as "The Prophecy" in a local promotion called TOKYO Blast. He hid Jason under an array of futuristic masks in order to hide his American identity from the public who he didn't view as ready to embrace a young American wrestler of his talent level.

Pairing up with Kinzo and taking the promotion by storm quickly gained notice from larger promotions, one in particular that would unite an new friend with an old one.

NEO INTERNATIONAL

Johnny F'n Malibu had been stock piling titles and nicknames across the independent wrestling scene before being offered a potential contract in the fastest growing international promotions in the world of wrestling. The catch was that founder and owner Wallace Storm had only wanted him as a package deal with another group of young performers he had found in his visit to Japan. The Prophecy and Alexander Kinzo. Wallace was a long time follower of the independent circuit and he saw major bucks in reuniting the odd trio.

Jason and Johnny embraced being reunited, much to the surprise of their old trainers, and with the addition of Kinzo the trio became both revered and touted as one of the hottest teams in the business once again. THE Armani Exchange, better known as A|X, was born and a huge success followed. Johnny was the loud mouthed aerial phenom. Jason was the technical wear and tear part, and Alexander Kinzo became known merely as the Silent Assassin. Partially due to his culture, but mainly due to the fact that Johnny F'n Malibu never shut his mouth.

After capturing the NEO International Trios Titles, the trifecta went on an unprecedented reign as champions, a title they would hold until the company folded due to later development of NEO-Pro, an umbrella of indy feds.

Second City Elite

After the death of NEO I, Jason chose not to follow Johnny over to NEXT, a small promotion based out of Wisconsin, and instead headed over to the Windy City where he ventured into his first true experience as a singles wrestler. Jason found himself quickly thrown into a heated blood feud with Tommy Ganz. The two would scratch and claw there way through the SCE Heavyweight Title tournament where Jason found himself coming out the victor after his toughest technical match to date. But before he was able to embrace his first taste of singles success, SCE found itself with closed doors.

Mixed Martial Arts

FURY

With the wrestling boom dieing there was a new, more real, art form on the horizon.. Mixed Martial Arts. With previous history and a great passion of Japan, Jason Cruise took a break from the business that continuously shut him out time and time again and he signed a contract with FURY-Pro, a rugged MMA company in Japan.

Here Jason would align himself with a new camp, The Manhattan Project, along with Donovan James, and a Russian contingency of wrestlers. Jason found himself training harder than ever and in a tough as nails atmosphere. TMP was known for it's insane training and unorthodox methods, pushing the limits of both fighter and the man inside. Jason, always known as a sponge for soaking up fighting techniques, quickly developed a fine MMA style of fighting and was tossed into the crazy world of martial arts. After losing a tough decision in his first appearance, he would string together four consecutive victories before being stopped by a more well rounded and experienced opponent. After considering his options, Jason left Japan once again removing himself from both MMA and wrestling for nearly a year.

Personal Life

Jason Christianson is the son of Mary and Steven Christianson. He has one brother, Frederick, who wrestles in the independent scene under the name Freddy Cruise.

He is lifelong friends with Jonathan Franklin Monroe who wrestles under the name of Johnny F'n Malibu.

He has been dating his on-screen girlfriend Marie both in and out of the ring since July of 2007.
