Alexander "Xander" Paul Searle Jr (born March 15, 1990) is an American professional wrestler currently working for Sin City Championship Wrestling, where he is the current SCCW LiveWire Champion.

Career

Debut as Paul Searle

Xander started his career during the August 29th edition of Temptation in Cleveland, Ohio. That night, he was a fan that was there to watch the action and was in line at the Mezzanine Level Nacho Cart when he was approached on camera by Jay Draven about being his tag team partner.

The following week, Paul as he was known at the time, made his official in-ring debut with Draven, gaining a victory over the team of Illuminado and Angel Verde. Not long after Searle had started to gain some in-ring experience, Draven subsequently disappeared from the scene, leaving Searle to learn the ropes on his own.

As a singles wrestler, Paul wasn't able to find success at first, and was amongst the wrestlers that were there when "Charlotte Ramone" unmasked and revealed her true identity. Mired in the low card, Paul was starting to be filled with doubt.

The Birth of Xander Searle and Heel Turn

On April 28, 2009 at SCCW's Temptation: Rushmore event, Paul came out to do his first even in-ring promo. The fans that night were shocked when he turned on them and re-christened himself as Alexander Searle, which had by the next week been shortened down to Xander.

With his new name and attitude came a renewed confidence, that was visible form the start as Xander would gain his first singles victory at Homecoming in a Fatal Fourway match that also granted him a shot at either the LiveWire or Gateway Championships at any time. During this period, Searle would also start up a feud with then-LiveWire Champion Rick Malloy.

Their feud would continue onto SIN on SPIKE 3: Dome of Doom where Malloy would pick up the win in a grudge match that was mainly controlled by the younger Searle.

LiveWire Champion

SIN on SPIKE wasn't over for Xander, as just before the Main Event, he handed over the contract that he held for a shot at either the LiveWire or Gateway Titles at the beginning of the Dome of Doom match, becoming the sixth competitor. During the match, he would pick up the first two pinfalls of the match, by pinning then-LiveWire Champion Spacely to become the new SCCW LiveWire Champion and then on Lance Marshall.
