Danny Vista (born Daniel Evans in Chicago, New York on September 28, 1983) is an American professional wrestler, currently not working for any federation after eighteen months out of wrestling. He is currently believed to be in the application process to an unnamed federation. In his previous stint in the WWA, Danny Vista wrestled in only 14 matches, the first 13 of which he went unbeaten, culminating in a World Title shot loss to Damian Thorne. After this match, Vista left the federation and hasn't been seen since, until an unconfirmed sighting in July 2009.

Training and Early Career

Prior to joining the WWA, Danny Vista had been entirely out of the wrestling world until he turned 18, when he left school and, instead of going to college, chose to join a local federation called the UWF (Ultimate Wrestling Federation). He stayed here for 3 years, winning all matches and earning rave reviews, until he decided to try and further his career by applying to the WWA. His application was successful, and from here his wrestling career went large-scale.

World Wrestling Alliance

On the 20th February 2006, Danny Vista made his television debut in the WWA in a midcard match against Andy McMirra. This match ended in a double countout, and would lead to his first rivalry in the federation against said opponent. This feud culminated in a humorously named "Finish Him Off" match at the WWA's biggest PPV of the year Rage In The Cage, in which the winner would have to hit their finisher before climbing out of the cage. Vista would win this match, and from here be touted for great things by those who had watched him on screen.

By winning this match, Vista would earn his first shot at, and subsequent capture of, the WWA Television Title. After beating Silence on the April 10th 2006 edition of Meltdown, Vista would go on to hold the title for over 4 months, a WWA record for a belt which had to be defended on every edition of Meltdown.

On the 28th August 2006, Vista decided to vacate the Television Title because he was not going to be beaten, and he wanted to move up to the United States title. Though he had earnt title shots at both the United States title and the World title, he only capitalised on the fore, winning the US title by defeating Nicholas Adams the following week. At the Birthday Bash PPV on 24th December 2006, Vista challenged Damian Thorne to a World Title match using his shot. Here, he lost the match to Thorne unexpectedly, and this was the last time Danny Vista was seen on WWA television.

After The WWA

Not much is known about what happened to Danny Vista after he lost the World Title match. On 24th December 2006, the night of Birthday Bash, he was seen to be leaving the arena angrily, a bottle of vodka widely believed to be clutched in his right hand as he walked out. After this, the WWA offices tried everything to contact him, but eventually he was registered as a missing person and not seen since.

On July 26th 2009, Danny Vista was rumoured to be seen walking the streets by an avid and ever-faithful fan. This fan, David Davies, reported to local media that his wrestling hero had told him he would be "back on your screen soon".
