Intrepid is an American professional wrestler who currently wrestles for the World Wrestling Alliance.

Silas is a well-mannered southern boy at heart but Silas is dead to me.

I AM INTREPID!!!

Intrepid's personality has literally exploded as of late. He has overcame a determined attempt by Lucas Black to disable him. This trial has energized him and has helped him to transform into a vengeful daredevil.

Just as his name implies, Intrepid will not be shaken from his target or would ever be intimidated into giving up.

Personal

Early Life

Silas was born and raised just outside of Hot Springs. He is the youngest of 5 children which is probably the answer to his quiet and well behaved personality. Regardless, this is not implying that Silas is a soft handed redneck either. He was raised, as most southern boys, to work his fingers to the bone. Living on a hog farm only made the work that much harder.

Although, since he was the youngest his parents did learn by the mistakes his siblings had made and they gilled him the hardest to get it right. Silas was never able to achieve any genius status but he did graduate in the top 25% of his class. Maybe some of that could have been explained away due to his increased responsibilities in managing and working the farm since his brothers and sisters had already grown and left.

The time he did (or didn't) have left he poured into his work and training as a wrestler. Again in the same respect in his work as a student, his work and achievements as a wrestler were summed up with the statement, "Amazing worker with a quickness and agility that can not be matched. Despite this ability to frustrate and disable his opponents strategy he lacks the focus to bring it home with a victory."

This wasn't an insult by any means, but it wasn't what college recruiters would have thought was scholarship material either. From his junior high through to his graduation he remained in the top fifteen of the state, but never received anything more than that. It would seem that this could have resigned an athlete to quit at that point but for Silas it did not. He wasn't content with someone else's opinion on what a collegiate wrestler should be and what they should achieve. He focused on becoming stronger in his long game and still went to college (although on a FFA scholarship for Agriculture Sciences) and tried out for the team anyway.

He was almost cut at the end of his freshman year and struggled into his sophomore year. It wasn't until near the end of his sophomore year that he begin to understand his style better and began to gel with it and adapted a strategy for his body type. He understood he was never going to get it done with his strength or was never going to accomplish anything in the intimidation department. He knew that if he were going to take his opponents down successfully he needed to take them into the marathon matches. He knew his legs were his assets and so he worked and developed a plan to wear down his opponents to the point that their frustration is what would help him to win the match.

For him it worked. It wasn't fool proof due to the fact that Silas was probably never going to rid himself of that over confident and fearless attitude that always got him in to far. But it was the difference and it took him far toward the close of his junior year. He had done well for himself on the team and began to gain popularity amongst some of the "better" members of the team. This was the end for Silas and anything normal in his life. He had found out that the couch and some of the elite members of the team were involved in a doping scandal and they had found out he knew.

Unable to be convinced by his "peers" to join them or to keep quite about it, when he had blown the whistle Silas was taken down with them as well. This was the ruin of his carrier and almost that of his college education. If it wasn't for the fact that he had a minor in business law to help him navigate through the bull and clear his name it would have been over. But unfortunately it was over for him as a wrestler. There wasn't anyway, cleared name or not, that he was going to gain any momentum again with what little he had in the way of his college career.

Silas quietly finished his degree in Agricultural Sciences with a minor in Business Law. Unable to shake the phantom of the scandal in his home area he found a job out west in California for a citrus co-op to help with their legal affairs and also as a liaison to help to sell their product to larger companies. It was while there his roommate learned about Silas' past in wrestling and tried to turn him onto the independent circuit of professional wrestling in that area.

Unsure about it, he went and watched but still wasn't moved on the idea. It took a few months of persuasion but Silas finally joined a school there in town and learned the basics in the moves and falls. He loved it. So much so that he graduated the top of that class session and went on to start it as a weekend hobby.

It took him nearly a year before he won his first match. This was mainly due to the number of high flyer's in this region and the fact that he couldn't shake the science of the game out of his head enough to really get into the matches. But it clicked, and he was addicted. He sought after the aerial wrestlers that he felt were at the top of their game and begged them to teach him how to fly.

He came across an individual that agreed to teach him only if he developed his own style with it and not just copy the other like most of them usually did. Once Silas had the idea and ring presence down is when he began to incorporate this into his science based mat style. He and his mentor worked hard to get it down, using maneuvers that would focus a lot of his energy towards the strengths of his game.

It worked, and so much so that he became so good at it that several of the roaming promotions had him wrestle for them on occasion. He gained some recognition and even had a small fan base. This is when he decided to gain an identity. Silas felt it wouldn't do him justice or be fair to any sensible public to wrestle as his self. He took on the identity of what he felt would represent the frustrations that he received by being railroaded into a guilty mantle in college. He took on an identity that he felt would channel the stupidity that he deals with big corporate businesses. He took an identity that also didn't betray who he was and the people he came from. Those that work hard, the tireless and the dedicated, those that never said that they would relent; he chose the identity of those who were INTREPID.

  • Info: She is the mother of Virtue and the girlfriend of Intrepid. She was first introduced in an Insider promo where Intrepid rented a child to use to insult other WWA Superstars. This child turned out to be Virtue. D.Filed is relatively pale but beautiful in a Gothic sort of way. She has long black hair and wears a long black dress that is tattered at the bottom. When she attends Intrepid to the ring she is always found bare foot.

  • Info: Virtue believes that Intrepid is a superhero that will save the WWA. After he was introduced to Intrepid after an Insider promo, Virtue wanted to stay with him in order to help him. Virtue wear a stark white suit with a white dress shirt. His tie and dress shoes are black.

His entrance into the WWA was a bit of a mixed bag. He came out feeling a little lost, and very alone. Until he began to draw in a few friends, but he also has drawn in one very notable enemy. This pursuer taunted him at every chance he had. This person tried in vain to defame and discredit Silas and what he wanted stand for by flinging back up a dirty past. This dirty allegation of supposed drug use finally was back to haunt Silas and it didn't sit well in his heart.

He tried to have to go away, even explained how it was nothing more than it was, an allegation. He felt the damage was already done. Match after match, he lost them because he just wasn't focused on his game. All over a silly, old allegation. Silas snapped and had had enough. So much so, that he shed his justice persona and is willing to hang it all out.

When asked about this recent change Intrepid responded, "Democracy isn't dead, it's just on a detour."

Intrepid's off season was none to much different than his brief introductory season in the WWA. Although he was somewhat able to shake his 'stalker' off of his game of the pursuit to pin baseless allegations of the use of enhancement drugs, his race didn't end there.

After the settling of the dust of what was otherwise an impressive performance by Intrepid in the Television Division's Gauntlet Match at Global Warfare 2008 despite not making to the end, his direction was finally realized not only in himself but also with the WWA and his 'stalker'.

This set the gears in motion for the next event to take place. His 'stalker' has now made it personal by kidnapping Silas' older brother and the firstborn of the Milner family. Jeffery is also the one Silas had looked up to his entire life and tried to model himself after. So in this action Silas' 'stalker' has taken things to an area that even Silas' himself isn't sure that he can restrain from the temptation of an inappropriate 'Rendering Of Justice'.

With his off season now derailed from his tentative plans to exercise and build himself a new routine, he is now forced to remain on the coat tails of this vile and perverted 'stalker' presence of his. Also trying to convince his family, who now has even sent its only other son Jesse to the assistance of Silas to finish this once and for all.

Teaching this 'stalker' and outing to the public for what he is will remind not only this one man but those of the Milner past that to mess with one you take on the whole clan. So Silas and his other elder brother Jesse are now at odds with an evil that the WWA should be dealing with but will ultimately have to bring down on their own.

Unfortunately through all of this Silas also needs to train for the newest challenge the front office has provided, The Harrington Cup Tournament. He needs to overcome another one of the WWA's past evils to get through to the beginning of the season to return back to the present one at hand.

He dealt with his stalker who turned out to be the now former WWA Superstar Solus accompanied by Silas' brother Jeffery. This was crushing for him but he pushed forward.

He won the TV Title from RJ Stone, joined forces with his staunch ally and best friend Mal Somers. Mal had the World Title and Intrepid the TV they planned to begin cutting a swath through the WWA.

This never came to any fruition when tragedy struck by the hands of Lucas Black. Lucas damaged Intrepid's neck badly in a title defense on 10/20/2008 and Intrepid never returned to the ring.

• Physical Appearance: Fairly well-toned and of average skin color (neither pale or tan). No tattoos or any other body piercings. He most definable feature are incredibly strong legs and is lean for a person of his size and stature. This shouldn't deceive his opponents because what he lacks in mass, he works extremely hard to makeup for it in agility and muscle tone.

Ring Gear

• MASK - [NEW] - A peculiar stone gray colored head mask. It's look is similar to stone masks found in carvings from civilizations in Central and South America.

• TOP - Dark green tank top -front- a picture of giant toothy smile. Underneath it in dark red letters, 'SMILE.' -back- large dark red letters, 'AND NOD!' The underneath in smaller green lettering, 'Then Maybe I'll Go Away.'

• BOTTOM - Dark green pants with yellow stripes down the sides.

• ARMS - Hands are taped up to the forearms with black tape.

• LEGS - Combat Boots. Color - Black with yellow laces.

Ring Entrance

• Ring Entrance: {Ring Announcer: } At this time, weighing 216 pounds. He is the Hellbilly Deluxe from Hot Springs. He is...the one known as...INTREPID!

('Must Kill' by Cavalera Conspiracy begins playing and not even a second after that the entrance ramp begins flashing with a quick burst of white strobe light and Intrepid comes out quickly but stops on the entrance ramp. He stares out into the crowd grooving to the beat of the music, glaring at them through the eyes of his mask. He suddenly thrusts his arm into the air.)

(As soon as the crowd reacts, Intrepid runs down the entire aisle all the way to the ring. He dives onto the ring apron and slides into the ring on his stomach. When He reaches the opposite side of the ring he pushes himself into a standing position. He stands there in anticipation nodding to the referee that he is ready to go.)

Match Strategy

• Strategy:
  • [ OFFENSE ] -Intrepid is known as a technical wrestler. His comfort level with performing high risk moves is phenomenal. Intrepid will create and attempt situations to perform daredevil maneuvers. He will begin now to focus on having a flurry offense in an attempt to overwhelm his opponent.

• • • To Start - Intrepid wants his opponent confused and disoriented. He will do this by using fast paced attacks - they won't necessarily be damaging combinations - unless they could be set up - but they will mainly be exploding sets of moves meant to disorient.

• • • To Continue - One of two things here - if opening sets prove successful he will continue to lie on the fast combinations with damaging air attacks so as to finish opponent off. -or- if after opening sets the opponent needs further work - Intrepid will slow the set down to a methodical pace and begin working on the arms and the neck. He is beginning work on a new submission move and may try to implement it.

• • • Finish - Again two options - if the momentum is with him he will become addicted to the fast sets of moves and will really start looking for high risk spots -or- if his body isn't into it or that the opponent has been a difficult workout - Intrepid will opt to take him out technically.

• • [ DEFENSE ] -Intrepid will stay true to his amateur wrestling skills and will always go for strong counters - He will also always look to struggle and squirm for a release.
