Andy Murray (Born October 17th, 1977 in Aberdeen, Scotland, real name; Andrew Hugh Murray) is a professional wrestler of Scottish descent, best known for his runs in AWC (where he was Frontier Champion), FUSE and Global Championship Wrestling. His other notable achievements include holding the PCW Rising Star Championship and his induction into the OCW Hall of Fame. He is currently an employee of Global Championship Wrestling having debuted at NC-17 2007.
Early Life
Born on October 17th, 1977, Andy grew up in Aberdeen, Scotland, with his father John, mother Jessica, elder brother Sidney and younger brother Cayle. As a young lad, Andy always dreamed of becoming a professional football player, and leading out his beloved Aberdeen FC someday. However, it soon became apparent that this dream was never going to materialise; not because of a lack of support or a horrific injury, but because Andy simply wasn't that good at the sport (like many kids his age, it was little more than a pipe dream). A popular student throughout school, Andy developed into a bright, charismatic adolescent, who knuckled down hard and left school, aged 17, with some impressive academic qualifications.
Relocation to USA
After leaving school Andy decided to act on impulse and persue a career in professional wrestling instead of following the route of many of his peers and going to University. He had always been a massive fan of the sport growing up and found it a much more interesting career prospect than anything that University could push in his direction.
