Creative Writing Tournament

PTC's first ever Creative Writing Tournament, organised and run by the handler of Jason Snow, Dave.

Genres

Western: Seriously, you know what a western is. If you think you don’t, trust me, you do. It’s not that hard.

Sci-Fi: Read the “Western” definition and apply it.

Action/Adventure: Take me on an adventure or show me some action. Blow something up maybe.

Fantasy: Encompasses all forms of the fantastical.

Children's: If someone under eleven can’t get something out of this, you’re probably going to lose.

Thriller: Scare me. Make me feel suspense. Ghosts, murderers, werewolves, but not limited to those.

Comedy: Make me laugh. I don’t care how you do it.

Drama: The largest, broadest genre. You know what this is. If you don’t, you have no business writing.

Micro Fiction: Five hundred words or less. Any genre.

Free Form: Write whatever you want.
