Elite Championship

The Elite Championship is a professional wrestling world championship that is independent of any federation. Competed over primarily by Primetime Central Affiliated feds, the recent Inaugural Tournament saw Steve Knox of NFW become the first ever Elite Champion.

What is the Elite Championship?

The Elite Championship was created to fill the void of the PTC Unified Title after it was retired from competition. A month after the Unified Title was retired, the Elite Championship was unveiled not only as a form of competition, but a way to draw attention to the federations associated with it. It allowed for a string to be drawn from fed to fed to increase readership and allow others to become aware of the competitors from these federations. It also promotes a friendliness between the different feds as they work together to create stories and develop feuds that will later turn into matches on a variety of different events.

The Mission Statement

The idea behind the Elite Championship is to continue to unify the PTC community under one title that will allow for healthy interfed competition and continue to build relationships around the community. We pick up the strands of the PTC Unified Title and move on from it with the goal of creating a title that is competitive and honored throughout the community while respecting the past of PTC and working towards enriching that history. Respect is the name of the game while competition is what motivates us.
