CRASH TV! debuted at the Vault in Baltimore, Maryland in the summer of 2000. Several more shows were aired there until the federation was actually BANNED from the city after a fire marshall inspecting their business practices witnessed a wrestler getting lit on fire and thrown inside a trashcan. During this time, NFW crowned its inaugural World Champion -- Bloodhunt.

Constantly touring the East coast, NFW found itself thriving for its first two years and celebrated their growing success with their first PPV, Banned 4 Life in reference to their exile from Baltimore, Maryland. It would also mark their increasing attendance capacity as they moved to the Paul Tsongas Arena for future CRASH telecasts, as well as a building headquarters in the heart of Boston, Massachusetts. An underground hit sensation with fans, while the attendance figures were small -- NFW would sell out any venue. New characters to the 'universe' such as Armando Montezuma, Rick Ryconik, Hellmachine, The Original Showstoppers w/ Calvin Cartlon, The Dogs of War, Tempesta Del Fuerte meshed perfectly with past UWA regulars like Shane Southern, Michael Manson, Wildstar, Alex Wylde and Bloodhunt.

Unfortunately, a masked wrestler with ties to the mafia forced a federal investigation to derail New Frontier Wrestling for six months, which also delayed FUTURESHOCK, their second PPV. Anything as grand as this would normally have shut down any other federation, but Craig Miles and Quentin Sullivan sued the government, immediately after being cleared of all charges in regards to harboring a fugitive.

NFW would live, but now Miles and Sullivan were at a crossroads. With enough money won from the government to make them rich for the rest of their lives, they also had an opportunity to invest enough capital in their own project to make it a national force. Only one problem -- the market was saturated and on-par with their own talent.
