Synopsis

1. The GCW United States Championship was first decided at Warpath in the World Title Tournament consolation bracket. Thirteen faced Toxic in the contest after being defeated by Octavian. Toxic was the odds on favorite to win as a member of the Establishment, but the enigmatic Thirteen managed to best the big man and walk out with the title.

2. Following Warpath, Thirteen revolted against the company and burned the United States Title belt. Steven Caldera immediately fired Thirteen and constructed a new belt twice the value of the old one. The match deciding the title was to be decided between Toxic and Luke Hanson, two very young and very dominant stars. The match was brutal, with Hanson taking most of the punishment. However, the newcomer managed to squeak out a gutsy victory over Toxic and capture his first GCW title.

3. With Hanson's stock rising, President Caldera's personal henchman Khan returned from an injury and received a shot at Hanson's world title. Hanson fought brilliantly, but after weeks of defending his title, Hanson seemed worn and lost to the deadly man from the Orient, Khan.

4. At Annihilation, The Jhub issued a challenge to his long time rival Khan to compete in a deadly ACWF match. Standing for Asphalt, Chains, Wrenches and Forklifts, the ACWF match was a tribute to Khan and Jhub's long history together. In the first ACWF match, The Jhub took a tremendous beating from Khan and was defeated soundly. However, the second time around The Jhub was ready, and took the fight to Khan. In the end, The Jhub brought backup in the form of Mike Hardy, who helped The Jhub dispose of Khan and capture the title in ACWF II.

5. Rapidly rising star Tristain Mayhem got his shot at the big time with a chance to take the United States title away from The Jhub. Mayhem wrestled a good match, but The Jhub seemed ready to take the victory when Rich Rollins inserted himself into the match. Rollins inexplicably assaulted The Jhub, leaving the door open for Mayhem to take advantage and walk out as the suprise champion.

6. Tristain Mayhem's star rose so rapidly that he began a campaign to challenge Octavian for the World Title. During a match with Toxic, Octavian appeared on the MegaTron, threatening Mayhem's lady love Nanci Schlatter. Distracted by the scene, Mayhem was rolled up for the three by Toxic, who captured the title. Mayhem then quickly darted to the back to save Nanci, leaving Toxic as the champion.

7. Christmas Chaos saw the odds stacked against Toxic as he took on The Jhub, Mike Hardy, and Hardcore champion Toad in a four corners match. Toxic displayed his incredible talents by fighting off all three men with great success, but in the end he was simply outnumbered. Toxic got hit with The Jhub's Downward Spiral at the end, allowing The Jhub to make the cover and walk away with his second United States Title reign.

8. The Jhub and NBK had been having trouble for several weeks when they finally competed in this ladder match at Rampage for the GCW United States title. The newcomer NBK seemed to be ready to step up in the ranks of GCW, but The Jhub stood in his way. The Jhub proved why he was the US champion and put NBK down, but when he reached for the belt, the wire suspending the belt mysteriously began to rise, pulling The Jhub with it. The wire then seemed to go slack, causing The Jhub to fall nearly fifteen feet to the mat below. NBK was then able to simply walk to the belt and take it without the use of the ladder.

9. NBK found himself a fan favorite in the month following his victory, as it seemed he was innocent of screwing The Jhub the month before. His opponent was the Establishment's second in command, Michael Stevens. A superb technician, Stevens wrestled NBK in a fine match. However, in the end Stevens needed help from Establishment teammates Toxic and Khan to defeat NBK and steal away the United States title in a bid for the Establishment to control all the gold in the company.

10. Two men from two different walks of life, Toad and Michael Stevens found themselves at odds at Warpath. Toad, the Hardcore legend, wanted a way to beat Stevens in a Hardcore realm. Stevens, the technical genius, wanted to wrestle Toad in a classic match. In the end, the two were forced into an 'Inside Your Mind' match. Outside of the ring was the classic Hardcore environment, where the rules were suspended. However, inside the ring the weapons were not allowed, and they would be forced to wrestle. To add to the match, Stevens was only able to record a victory outside in Toad's realm, and Toad was only allowed to score his pinfall inside the ring, where Stevens had the advantage. The two were forced to adapt to each others' styles, but it was Toad who managed to beat Stevens on the outside, only to slide him into the ring for the pinfall and the upset victory over the Establishment's crown jewel.

11. After its relaunch, GCW held a one-night, four man tournament to crown a new GCW United States Champion. LeStatt Knight defeated Mike Hardy and NBK defeated Toad to enter the finals. But after a brutal back and forth bout, Knight managed to pull off a victory and become the first US champion in almost three years!

12. After an incredibly dominant and record-setting run, LeStatt Knight met his match at WorldWide. His focus shifted to winning the World Title from former friend Jason Dread, a distracted Knight shifted his attention to Dread at ringside long enough for Tremendous to captialize, pinning Knight to end his historic reign.

13. Following an amazing performance at Dangerous Games, Eva earned a United States Title shot. She and Trey fought hard, and Eva remained in control for most of the match. Just as Trey looked as if he might retain, Rich Rollins entered and laid Trey out, paving the way for Eva to get the pin and become the first female holder of a major GCW Singles title.

14. In an unprecedented event, the Television champion went one on one with the United States champion in a title for title matchup. With the crowd solidly behind her, Eva took Rollins to the limit. However, Rollins managed to pull out the victory and stun the crowd, leaving as a double champion with his first US title win.

15. The double champion Rollins defended both his TV and US titles in a triple threat ladder match, also including Trey Tremendous. Rollins fought hard but the odds were against him, and Borealis managed to pull out a win and capture the US title.

16. After a month-long losing streak in which Eva VanLorne suffered indignity after indignity, she persevered to get another shot at the US title at NC-17. Locking up in a four-corners match with Borealis, Mike Savige and Typhoid Mary, the odds were against her. But Eva fought a tough match and eventually pinned Borealis in the center of the ring to capture the title again.

17. In her first defense since winning the title and riding a huge wave of momentum, Eva VanLorne was shocked at WorldWide by Sam Wolack. Wolack cleanly pinned VanLorne for the title, rocketing himself into the spotlight for the first time.

18. With both the US title and a spot in the Rampage World Title tournament on the line, Sam Wolack met relative newcomer Vivica J. Valentine. Wolack fought hard, but Valentine shocked the veteran and took home the gold and the spot in the tournament.

19. After the most incredible GCW Title reign to date, Vivica Valentine faced off against Brandon Youngblood at WorldWide. The match was closely contested, but eventually Youngblood applied a submission move. Valentine refused to submit away her title, but eventually lost consciousness, as Youngblood ended the longest title reign in GCW history to capture his first GCW Title.

20. At NC-17, Brandon Youngblood demanded a real challenge. The result was a match in which he defended his title against Danielle Northsky, Jordan White, Jayce Bradley and Tessa Windsor. Youngblood held his own against five opponents, but the match proved to be too much for the volatile star. Youngblood's impressive reign ended when Danielle Northsky picked up the win to capture her first major GCW title.

21. The absolute dominance of Dies Irae and KB:NAN began to decline in early 2007, and this match was a clear sign that the rest of GCW had caught up. Jordan White met Northsky on WorldWide for the title, and White proved that he was one of the most promising athletes in GCW, defeating Northsky soundly to take the United States Title.

22. Jordan White held the title with little opposition for several months. He then scaled even greater heights, winning the Warpath Tournament to become the number one contender to the World Title. White seemed distracted when defending his title against Shaman, who imposed his will on the match. Then, with an assist from the returning Rich Rollins, Shaman pinned White to win his first major singles title.

GCW United States Title Belts Used- 4. The first was burned by Thirteen. A more expensive and elegant belt was built, but Tristain Mayhem gave it away to a young disabled child. A third was constructed but was melted down for jewlery by Toad after GCW closed. The fourth was constructed at the relaunch of the company and won by LeStatt Knight.
